Jumpstart your painting with a weekend of fun and learning!  We'll explore the principals of landscape painting, and then put them into practice immediately.

​This class is designed for beginner to intermediate acrylic and oil painters.

​By the end of the weekend, you'll be able to design your paintings better,

create a sense of space in your landscape, achieve yummy color harmony, and loosen up (if that's a goal of yours) through simple techniques. 

Class size is limited to 8 students to give plenty of one-on-one support. 

The format of the class will include

​(1) taking notes as I demonstrate

(2) question and answer at any point 

(3) mostly- you at the easel with guidance

(4) a "happy hour" wrap-up on the last day :)

​In this class, we'll use reference photos.

However, this workshop is the perfect precursor to my Beginner Plein Air (painting what's in front of you outdoors) workshop -- date TBD
