Fused Glass Jewelry Class

  • Si View Community Center 400 Southeast Orchard Drive North Bend, WA, 98045 United States (map)

We are offering a fused glass jewelry class taught by Monica Philips, glass jeweler extraordinaire. Learn from one of the best and make your own fused glass pendant or earrings.

Please join us at the Si View Community Center on November 12, 2022 as we make some awesomely beautiful fused glass! We will start with the basics and learn how to cut textured and non-textured opalescent, clear or dichroic glass into squares, rectangles and triangles. In this 3-hour class, we will be choosing our colors and styles, and cutting and shaping the glass into rudimentary earrings and pendants. You then choose your Sterling Silver earring and pendant findings, along with a choice of Sterling Silver chain or a Leather or Rubber Chain for your pendant. If you don’t want to make pendants or earrings, no problem! I will also have pin backs on hand. After the class I will fuse your glass, do some minimal shaping and then fire-polish it to take the rough marks away. I will glue on Sterling Silver earring and pendant findings for your own personal and very unique creations. All tools, firing and shaping services, glass and Sterling Silver findings will be provided. I will contact you to arrange pickup of your pieces at Art Gallery of Snovalley (8130 Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie, WA 98065).

Class size is limited to 12. Please sign up early to reserve your space.
Class is intended for individuals aged 16 and up.
